Battle of the Band competitions are held periodically in cities to showcase area talent and give musicians a chance to perform their original creations. The competitions are a good tool for artists to tell how well their music is liked. The "Battle" gives music lovers a chance to hear new sounds and gives artists a chance to get noticed by large groups and professionals in the music industry.
Gorilla Productions is holding a Battle of the Bands competition in Blasdell NY on December 20th, 2009. Ten bands are scheduled to compete including our local band REVELRY. Revelry band members have been playing around Chautauqua County since April 2009 and bring a high level of energy and entertainment to the stage. Their original songs are catchy and creative leaving listeners wanting to hear them again and again.
The band REVELRY has entertained at Zebros Harbor House, Larry's Cantina, The Tap Room in Westfield, Midway Park in Maple Springs, The Hairy Lemon in Fredonia to name just a few. They are very excited of their opportunity to play at THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS competiton and invite all who are interested to come out and listen to them on December 20th at Club Paradise. They promise not to dissappoint.
Tickets are $8.00 pre-sale and $10.00 at the door. Show starts at 4:00pm
