Chautauqua County will benefit from the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act(ARRA). Western New York will receive $23.1 million through this Act to aid local rehabilitation efforts to improve its roads.
Because of President Obama and the New York State Congressional Delegation, roadways and bridges in Western New York will get improvements and attention that they need. The infrastructure projects will help to stimulate the local economy creating several jobs and put local people back to work. Projects are scheduled for the towns of Westfield, Randolph, Sherman, North Harmony, Ellery, North Collins and Concord which include Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Erie Counties.
This investment in New York State will help Western New York to recover economically and aid in a safer and more efficient future.
