A Niagara Falls vacation will be one of the highlights of your trip to the area. Just seeing the Falls for the first time is an amazing experience. Most visitors first start out by walking around and viewing the tremedous power and scenery of the Falls.
Niagara Falls is only 1/2 hour from Buffalo and only one hour and 1 and 1/2 hours from Chautauqua, New York. It will be impossible to avoid the attractions all around the Falls area once you get there. At the base of the Falls, tourists will find THE CAVE OF THE WINDS or The MAID OF THE MIST. There they will see the Falls from the bottom and be able to look up.
The beautiful Niagara Falls State Park and Goat Island provide tourists with some scenic and leisurely strolls.
